  • Boosting Your Research Journey with Mentors & Champions with Dr. Tracy Costello
    • When: Thursday, May 16, 2024; 1:00pm – 2:00pm Eastern
    • This interactive session equips early-career researchers and mid-career professionals with strategies to identify and connect with mentors and champions who can propel their research careers forward. We'll explore key networking skills, resources to find mentors, and how to build successful mentoring relationships.
    • This is the second webinar in a series that will focus on real-life stories by molecular laboratory staff from a diverse and non-US background who have continued their education, training, and/or clinical practice in the United States.
    • While the presentation is geared toward AMP members, registration is free and open to all, so please feel free to share this exciting offering with your colleagues.

Personalized Medical Coalition

PMC Releases Study on Disparities in Research Informing Personalized Medicine.
  • In a new report published this morning by the Personalized Medicine Coalition, a group of more than 60 leaders, including 38 from communities historically underrepresented in biomedical research, outline what health care researchers can do to better engage diverse populations in the studies that are used to determine which preventive and treatment interventions will work best for which patients.
